Rankings contributed by Abby Whiteley, Alex Harrison, Ashara Peiris, Bex Lowe, Dan Trick, David Dlaka, Fraser Posford, Jack Lennard, Jackie Woodburn, Matt O’Connor, and Sasha Burgoyne

Welcome to the fourth and final part of the Quidditch Post’s UK midseason rankings for 2015-2016. Note that these rankings are based on results from the beginning of the 2015-16 season – September to December 2015 – and do not reflect any more recent events. In this final part we have a full summary of the rankings given, as well as a number of statistics about each team.

Figure 1: Ranking scores of each of the teams
Figure 1 shows the overall scores that each team received. In the end, only a single point ensured that the Radcliffe Chimeras were ranked above the Nottingham Nightmares. Whilst the rankings show clear differentiation among teams, the results of the voting are not as stratified as those seen in the rankings of other NGBs, particularly those of USQ. However, we can form approximate tiers as follows:

Tier

A+
Radcliffe Chimeras, Nottingham Nightmares

Warwick Quidditch Club, Durhamstrang, Southampton Quidditch Club Firsts

Keele Squirrels, Loughborough Longshots
B+

Figure 3: Ranking scores of each of the teams with ranges marked
Figure 3 shows the rankings of each team, along with their best and worst ranking. Whilst the top nine teams had relatively little variance — Keele, for example, being unanimously ranked in sixth place — the middle and upper tiers are more diverse. In particular, the Seven Swans and Portsmouth Horntail Strikers had a difference of 12 places between their best and worst rankings.
