Quidditch Post: So last year, Lunatica placed fourth at EQC 2014. How do you think that experience will impact the team going into EQC 2015?
Andrea: We had eight players at the last EQC, with two of them being mercenary players, so I don't think it will impact us a lot.
However, experiences are important. Some of us has never played in an official tournament, and the first time is usually a surprise. For this year’s EQC, we will have 12 players who are not mercenary players. We work on tactics and other things in each training session, so this time we can try those things. We also have an ace in the hole, a player who has played for the team since our conception three years ago.

QP: Who is that?
Andrea: Andrea Lupo, one of the founders of Lunatica Quidditch Club. He’s the biggest player we have (1,90 m, 110 kg, nickname “Hulk”).
QP: What position does Andrea play?
Andrea: Chaser/keeper, but he loves to play as a snitch runner.
QP: So what do you think Europe and the world can expect out of Lunatica? Any goals?
Andrea: With this expansion of quidditch, the world can expect from us a repeat of what we did last year in Europe and Italy.
We will try to win the Italian National Tournament, which is happening May 30-31 in Rome, for the second time. There were four teams last year, but this time there will be eight to ten teams. In Europe, we try to improve ourselves in order to reach the podium, but it will be hard. Last year’s EQC had 12 teams; this year has 32. As wolves, we will fight.
We are a community team in a small town with no big teams nearby. Perhaps the other teams won’t expect much from us, so in this case, we will try to surprise everyone.

QP: Outside of Andrea, are there any players who are key to Lunatica?
Andrea: We have Davide Termite, our seeker. He caught all of the snitches, six out of six, at the last Italian National Tournament in four matches with two overtime catches.
QP: How would you describe the team's style of play?
Andrea: We bet on our defense, we have a good bludger game, and we can keep up with other teams’ offenses.

QP: Come descriveresti lo stile di gioco della squadra?
Andrea: Noi puntiamo sulla nostra difesa, abbiamo un buon gioco di bolidi, e possiamo tener testa agli attacchi delle altre squadre.
