“I’m confident that Isabella will make a great addition to our team,” said CEO Andy Marmer. “I had the pleasure to first work with her two years ago in the IQA, and her passion for quidditch and photography has shone through from our first conversation.”

Gong is thrilled to become the first VP Visuals.

“I am very excited to be joining the Quidditch Post,” said Gong, who is also a chaser on the Philadelphia Honey Badgers. “It is fantastic to be able to work with a group of dedicated quidditch individuals and it's quite telling that many are jumping aboard at this time. The Quidditch Post has always produced quality written content and will only get better with quality visual content. I foresee the Quidditch Post becoming the front-runner of international quidditch news and am definitely eager to be a part of that journey.”

As a photographer Gong has shot numerous events around the South and Mid-Atlantic of the United States and her work can be seen on the USQ website, the Eighth Man, and the Quidditch Post, among other places.

Gong was previously a Co-Captain for the University of Pennsylvania quidditch team, the Penn Pygmy Puffs. She is an active member of the quidditch community and plans to attend numerous tournaments. Gong will be responsible for building a new, exciting, and vibrant visual brand for the Quidditch Post that will give our already superior content a new lease of life. As part of her efforts she will be looking to build a team of volunteers from all over the world which will include graphic designers, photographers, and editors.
